Diamonds

Colour: green / brown marl

Pattern: all over body pattern; columns of small diamonds separated by two purl stitches; diamonds centred at front, back and sides

Welt: single rib, 9 cm (3.5 inches)

Chest: 66 cm (26 inches)

Gusset: no gusset; 9 stitches of diamond pattern continue as plain stitches down sleeve; no seam stitch; shaping starts about 10 cm (4 inches) from armhole, is not centred, and is rather erratic

Shoulders: 28 rows moss stitch each side of front, cast off together with back shoulder stitches

Sleeves: plain except for 4 rows moss stitch at armholes; cuff single rib 4.5", 11.5 cm (4.5 inches); sleeve length 51 cm (20 inches)

Neck: polo neck, single rib, 12 cm (4.75 inches)
